Milford Man Accused of Torturing, Killing Kittens ‘for Fun'

A Massachusetts man is facing several charges after allegedly torturing and killing multiple kittens on a local farm.

Miguel Medina of Milford faces two counts of killing an animal and one count of animal cruelty, according to local police.

Police say officers responded to Ferrucci Farm in Milford early Sunday afternoon after the farm owners said they felt threatened by Medina, who had been staying in a camper behind the farm. The family also told police the man had been stealing their belongings.

According to police, when officers approached the camper, Medina was initially resistant but took his belongings and left.

A witness who was at the farm then told police Medina invited him to the camper to show him remains of kittens he had killed.

According to the police report, the witness also told police Medina "talks heavily about killing kittens daily and admits to killing a couple a week for fun when he is bored."

The witness showed police the remains of a kitten in a fire pit and said Medina told him, "Check this out, I burned this one yesterday."

Medina allegedly told a member of the family that he killed the family’s two kittens that lived on the farm. Officers found the remains of kittens under a table in his camper and multiple bones sprawled "all over the grass."

Police found Medina walking on Central Street shortly after the encounter and arrested him.

It's unclear whether he has an attorney or when he'll be arraigned on the animal cruelty charges.
