Road Closed After Car Hits Utility Pole

Police in Pelham, New Hampshire, confirm a car crashed into a utility pole early Sunday morning, bringing down live wires and closing the town's Mammoth Road.

Police in Pelham, New Hampshire, confirm a car crashed into a utility pole early Sunday morning, bringing down live wires and closing the town's Mammoth Road.

The call came in at 1:22 a.m. for the single-car crash at 699 Mammoth Road. The driver, 37-year-old Adolfo Burgos, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Mammoth Road between Nashua and Tennery Roads is expected to be closed until noon Sunday.

The crash remains under investigation.
