Two suspicious objects were investigated by Boston police officers on Saturday.

The two items were left at different locations with notes attached to them that said "Open Me," according to police. Police and fire department officials were unable to confirm whether the devices were detonated or not. The precise locations of the packages were also not disclosed.

Police are investigating whether these items were placed there maliciously. Police tell the public to use caution if they discover any similar objects and to call 911 immediately.

Another one was found by Cambridge police at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Street and Memorial Drive. That package was identified as a tin can with the same message, and has been investigated and cleared.
