President Barack Obama will honor the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots next Thursday in Washington.
The team will visit the White House for a ceremony that begins at 2 p.m. on April 23.
The Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in February to win their fourth Super Bowl. All of the victories have been under head coach Bill Belichick and with quarterback Tom Brady.
"This visit will continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities," the White House said in a statement.
