Surfers Hang Ten in Frigid Waters Off Canada's Eastern Coast

(NECN/CBC) - For most of us, it would be torture. But, for these surfers at Cow Bay, Nova Scotia this is heaven!

This week's stormy weather has left behind perfect conditions for hangin' ten.

And, the surfers say with a good wet suit -- it's really not all that cold.

So just how chilly is this dip? The water is a balmy 42 degrees Fahrenheit, but it can get down to 21 degrees.
