(NECN) - Meteorologist Nelly Carreno says that Hurricane Irene is a little weaker but still a Category 2 storm with top sustained winds of 105 mph and still on its way up the East Coast.
Meanwhile, states are declaring state of emergencies, and a hurricane warning has extended into Chesapeake Bay as far as Drum Point. Hurricane warnings already exist from North Carolina to New Jersey. New England is in a state of hurricane watch.
