(NECN) - Erick Weber, Kristy Lee and Nelly Carreno checked in with the latest entertainment headlines.

Katie Couric landed the highly-anticipated interview with Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o. It will be the first on-camera interview for Te'o after Deadspin reported that hi girlfriend, who was believed to have died from leukemia, never existed. Te'o claims that he was the victim of a hoax, not a participant. The interview will air Thursday.

Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan is a married woman after tying the knot in Rhode Island to Coast Guard Lieutenant Clay Pell. Governor Lincoln Chafee and his wife were among the guests. Kwan, who won 43 championships during her career as a figure skater, is now a public policy envoy with the department of state and her new husband is a member of the White House national security staff.
