2 survive blast at Fitchburg, Mass. auto shop

(NECN: Justin Michaels, Fitchburg, Mass.) - A pile of debris is all that remains of an auto supply shop in Fitchburg, Mass.

An explosion severely damaged the building around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

It also left 10 people displaced, as the blast also damaged a nearby home.

Two people who were inside the building survived the blast.

There is no word yet on what caused the explosion. Crews are looking at a nearby gas line in hopes of determining a possible cause.
