(NECN) - Authorities say two men have been charged in connection in the investigation into the death of a man whose body was found outside a Norwood, Mass. school.

Middlesex County District Attorney's Office says 52-year-old Anthony Canejo Sr. was arraigned Friday in Somerville, Mass. on charges including assault in connection with the death of Vincent Lalli of Somerville. The DA says Anthony Canejo Jr., 30, was also arraigned Friday on accessory to assault charges.

Investigators say Canejo Sr. assaulted Lalli with a crowbar and strangled him. Canejo Jr. then allegedly assisted his father by disposing the body.

Lalli's body was found in January behind Coakley Middle School.

Canejo Sr. was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Feb. 21. His son was ordered held on $250,000 cash bail, but then held without bail on a probation violation. Canejo Jr. will be in court next on March 28 for a pre-trial hearing.
