(NECN) -  It's been months since Jim Braude has uttered the words, "we watch the political ads, so you don't have to." It can only mean one thing...the ads are back!

Boston University's John Carroll sits down with Jim Braude to discuss politics in the media.

With the first debate Wednesday and the primary April 30, Braude notes it's a race no one seems to be paying much attention to. Carroll says it's a slow race to pick up momentum. While he isn't sure why, Carroll says the fact that both the Republican and Democrat candidates are relatively unknown.
