Kearney: EMS response was very well controlled

(NECN) – You will always find people who are helping, such as Brendan Kearney, Superintendent in Chief of Boston EMS.

He was captured in a photo during the Boston Marathon bombing, helping injured people away from the area.

β€œIt looks like chaos. I think it was very well controlled and we had a lot of plans in place,” said Kearney.

He said that plenty of training and experience helped the first responders handle the situation better.
