EXCLUSIVE PHOTO: 2 arrested in connection to car crash that killed young couple

Boston Globe reporting police seeking 2 motor vehicle homicide charges against Ghuzlan Alghazali, while Mohamed Alfageeh will be charged with misleading investigators

A husband and wife from the Boston's Allston section have been arrested and are expected to be charged in connection with Saturday night's fatal chain reaction crash on Beacon Street.

A friend and co-worker of Mohamed Alfageeh said he and his wife Ghuzlan Alghazali were expecting to be arraigned in court Tuesday morning, but that has not been confirmed by the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

The Boston Globe reported police will seek two counts of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation against 26-year-old Alghazali. Registry of Motor Vehicle records obtained by NECN show Alghazali does not have a license.

Police will also seek charges against 29-year-old Alfageeh for allegely misleading investigators, according to the Globe. RMV records show Alfageeh’s license has been suspended indefinitely due to Saturday’s deadly accident.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jack Lanzillotti and his girlfriend 27-year-old Jessica Campbell were killed when one vehicle ran a red light and was struck by another vehicle, causing it to roll, striking the couple near Beacon and Fairfield Streets.
