(NECN) - Jim Braude hosted a Broadside special event -- a debate in the Republican primary in the Massachusetts 4th Congressional district.

The 4th district has been redrawn as a result of the 2010 census and redistricting.

Candidates Sean Bielat, Elizabeth Childs, and David Steinhof joined Braude for the debate.

Bielat, of Norfolk, was the GOP nominee who opposed Barney Frank in 2012. He is a major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Childs, of Brookline, is a physician who served as commissioner of mental health under Governor Mitt Romney.

Steinhof, of Fall River, is a dentist.
