(NECN) - When money is tight, it may be easiest to skimp on one's hair care. But there may just be a way around that.
For some recession-proof, stylish summer dos, Mario Russo of Salon Mario Russo on Newbury Street shares some tips.
He has styled the hair of many stars, including Terri Hatcher, Sarah Ferguson and Natalie Portman.
Mario brought along models Arielle and Jenna to show off tips for those with shorter hair and long hair.
When going with a bob, asymmetry works.With a longer side or raised back with lower front, you can tailor this cut to your face and lifestyle.
For longer hair, the natural look is created with layers of unstyled, free moving hair. While there will not be a lot of curl to the hair, plenty of slightly tousled waves will be visible.
