(NECN: Greg Wayland, Boston, Mass.) - Fast food is a global business. Today, the chief executive officer of McDonald's came to Boston to talk about strategy in a down economy.
Jim Skinner says demand is up, but insists it is not because people are eating cheaper in tough times. He says, McDonald's has been quick to adjust its menu to even the most local tastes while trying to keep service fast and friendly.
He spoke today at the Boston College's Chief Executives Club.
