(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Boston, Mass.) - When we hear about infectious disease, we often hear the elderly and infants are among the most vulnerable. That may soon change with the help of doctors at Childrens Hospital in Boston. They are exploring ways to boost immunity -- at birth. <a href="http://www.childrenshospital.org" target="_blank">Click here to visit the hospital's Web site.</a> Dr. Ofer Levy and his colleagues in the division of Infectious Diseases have found a way to enhance innate immunity at birth, making infections much less of a threat.
