| October 27, 2009 Northwest Airlines pilots admit they were working on personal laptops
|
(NECN/ABC) - The two Northwest Airlines pilots who flew more than 100 miles past the Minneapolis Airport last week, now admit they were distracted while working on their personal laptops.
They could lose their jobs and their pilots licenses.
The pilots may learn later Tuesday if their pilots licenses will be suspended.
This was a veteran crew.
But aviation analysts say modern planes and its automated flight systems, can make pilots complacent.
ABC's Viviana Hurtado has the latest from Washington.
