2 CT residents recovering after plane crash in New Mexico

(NECN/WTNH) - Two Connecticut residents are recovering after a fiery plane crash in New Mexico.

It happened Friday morning just short of the runway.

Police say the 41 year old pilot pulled his 36 year old female passenger from the plane.

Both suffered burns and were taken to an Albuquerque hospital.

Police say the plane was just purchased Friday.
