| July 21, 2008 Kerry: McCain has been wrong with Iraq judgment
|
(NECN: Boston, MA) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama landed in Baghdad Monday to begin his first on-the-ground inspection of Iraq. The Illinois senator is traveling with Sens. Jack Reed D-R.I. and Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry discusses the importance of the trip, as well as some new bills he has sponsored in the Senate.
Also the Senator has embarked on his "Kerry on your corner" tour for the upcoming campaign to defend his senate seat. He says the campaigning is fun, although people are very concerned about their communities and the rising price of gas. He says, "Unfortunately the economy is hurting enough right now that there is not a lot of confidence, and we need to get that economy moving by restoring confidence."
Sen. Kerry joins Chet Curtis at the Suffolk University NECN Downtown Boston Studio.
