(NECN) - Jeff Adrien a Brookline, Massachusetts native worked out for the Boston Celtics today. The 6 foot 7 power forward who played at UConn said he would bring toughness and leadership if he landed a spot on the Celtics. Adrien says, "I think I'm a winner, and I think I'll do something special here with them." He says there are plenty of guys his size having success in the NBA, and has been paying close attention to two of them on the Celtics: Glen Davis and Leon Powe. He says, "those guys are you know paving the way for me, and basically showing me the way. I follow those guys and I cherish everything they do." Currently the Celtics have only one pick in Thursday night's draft: The 28th pick in the second round. Celtics GM Danny Ainge says it's unlikely the team will make a deal to move up. CLICK HERE for more from Danny Ainge.
