(NECN) - Meteorologist Tim Kelley says overnight Thursday showers and thunderstorms gradually diminish, slowest to wind down in Northern New England. Lows in the 50s north, 60s south. Wind shifting from southeast to southwest at 0-8 mph.

On Friday, morning clouds and fog break for some sunshine, then numerous afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the 70s for most, 60s in Maine. Clouds and fog may linger in Central and Eastern ME. Southeast wind in Maine, southwest wind elsewhere at 5-15 mph.
