1 Dead, 2 Seriously Hurt in DUI Crash

A man was killed and two other people were seriously hurt in what police are calling a DUI crash Saturday afternoon in Chester, New Hampshire.

Police say 47-year-old Craig Vanier of Chester, driving a Ford Fusion, crossed onto the wrong side of Derry Road and hit a Kia Sedona driven by 66-year-old Susan McMahon of Wincham. That Sedona was then forced onto the other side of the road, hitting a Dodge Ram driven by 60-year-old Kevin Lally of Derry.

Sixty-five-year-old John McMahon, also of Windham, was a passenger in the Sedona. He was badly injured and died at the scene. Susan McMahon was taken to Parkland Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Lally also sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Elliott Hospital.

Vanier wasn't hurt.

Police arrested Vanier and charged him with aggravated DUI.
