A bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car Friday afternoon in Charlton, Massachusetts.
State police say the crash happened on Route 169 and Route 20 around 3:30 p.m.
Police said 40-year-old John Paire, of Charlton, was riding a bicycle when he was struck by an Audi A4 driven by a 54-year-old Wilbraham man.
Paire was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver is not being identified. He has been cooperating with police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
