    (NECN: Deanna Morgan, Lexington, Mass.) - School leaders in Lexington, Mass. are looking into a father's claims that the district mistreated his then 5-year-old daughter.

    Bill Lichtenstein recently wrote an op-ed piece in the New York Times.

    He alleged his special needs daughter was locked in a school closet, six years ago.

    NECN’s Deanna Morgan spoke with Lichtenstein and she has more on the controversy that has a lot of people in town talking.

    The Superintendent is going to release a statement regarding the issue at Tuesday’s regularly scheduled public meeting at Lexington Town Hall.
