(NECN) - Suffolk Downs and Mohegan Sun are officially joining forces for a casino bid in Revere, Mass.
Suffolk Downs had been searching for a new partner since dropping Caesars from its bid.
This is still far from a done deal.
The two sides still must pitch the proposal to the Mass. Gaming Commission by December 31.
And because East Boston voters rejected a Suffolk Downs casino, the track has to get approval from the gaming commission and Revere to move the proposed casino to the Revere portion of the Suffolk Downs property.
