Chief Richard D. Howe reports that the Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, Police Department is investigating the alleged theft of two passports, one military and one personal, from a home yesterday afternoon.
Tyngsborough Police responded to a residence on Blossom Street for a report of an attempted breaking and entering early Friday evening. Officers found the upstairs bedroom had been gone through and a locked file cabinet was damaged. A black and gray North Face backpack, containing clothes, grooming items, and the military and personal passports of a male resident, was reported stolen. Nothing else was reported missing from the home.
Police searched the surrounding area, but found no traces of a suspect. The incident remains under investigation by Tyngsborough Police Detectives.
