Many students are Boston University are becoming victims to unusual thefts.
The popular and expensive winter jacket, Canada Goose, which retail from $800 to over $1000, can be found across campus. However, the Boston University police are warning students about an uptick in thefts.
The police reported that 14 jackets have been stolen since mid-September from the university gym.
Students say the jackets are often left hanging, unlocked, at the FitRec center.
Because of the amount of people wearing the jackets across campus, this theft is easy to do but difficult to solve.
Although some students don't think the jackets are worth their price-tag, many students are wiling to make the investment to stay warm while walking along the ever-windy Commonwealth Ave.
