There has been a carbon monoxide leak at MIT resulting in the evacuation of the building, according to MIT Emergency Alerts.

Five individuals received medical treatment at the scene and there were no serious injuries.

A bad valve on a carbon monoxide cylinder in building 18 caused the leak.

    The building has been reopened.
