Dunkin' Donuts Will No Longer Offer Free Coffee if the Patriots Win This Season

However fans will still be able to celebrate a Pats win

Last year Dunkin' Donuts gave fans a free coffee the day after the New England Patriots won a game, however, this year Dunkin' is dialing it back.

According to Boston.com, Dunkin' Donuts will no longer offer the "Pats Win, You Win" promotion this year after giving away too much free coffee last year.

The Patriots won 12 out of the 16 regular season games in 2015 and the company gave away a reported 2.25 million free coffees through the playoffs.

However, fans will still enjoys perks of a Pats win.

Dunkin' will offer DD-perks members an 87-cent medium or hot iced coffee if the Pats win, in honor of No. 87, Rob Gronkowski.

The offer applies to coffee-lovers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, and Essex and Clinton counties in New York.
