Fire Reignites Inside Conn. Building

Police said that they believe the building where the fire happened is abandoned

Flames ripped through an abandoned building on Glen Street in New Britain, Connecticut, after fire reignited on Monday morning.

The fire burned for more than three hours, but it was under control as of 6:30 a.m.

Glen Street is closed in the area as crews continue to battle hot spots.

Flames were shooting from the rooftop earlier this morning and area fire departments were called to help put out the blaze,

Mutual aid is in place to cover the firehouse while New Britain firefighters are at the scene.

There are no reports of injuries and police said that they believe the building is abandoned.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
