A sultry night is ahead with lows remaining in the 70s south and upper 60s north overnight. A cold front traverses across New England tomorrow, bringing a welcomed break in the summer-like heat. The front will bring some showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon.

We’re expecting slightly cooler highs than today with some clouds around. Overall, we’re expecting highs to crest into the upper 80s to low 90s.

An area of high pressure out of the Canadian province of Ontario noses into the region on Wednesday, returning drier and more seasonable weather to New England.

Expect sunny skies and highs reaching into the upper 70s. Dry and pleasant weather continues on Thursday with highs cresting again into the upper 70s as high pressure shifts to our east. A warm front approaches from the west on Friday.

Overall, expect mostly sunny skies with highs near 70 degrees. Cloudy with some showers around on Saturday as warm front pushes across New England. Highs will reach into the low to mid 70s.
