Man Accused of Raping Woman in Vermont Courthouse Bathroom Arrested in New York
    Burlington Police

A man accused of raping an acquaintance in a courthouse bathroom in Burlington, Vermont, has been arrested in New York.

Authorities say Robert Rosario, 32, sexually assaulted the woman in the restroom of Costello Courthouse on Oct. 16.

Wednesday, a fugitive task force located Rosario on Andrews Avenue in the Bronx.

Last week, Vermont police said they believed Rosario may have fled Vermont - police paperwork showed that he was a native of the Bronx.

The incident occurred while Rosario was in court on charges of dealing cocaine.

According to the Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations, Rosario is being held in the Bronx on $250,000 bail. He is expected to be extradited to Vermont.
