Police are searching for the man who was seen on surveillance video stealing an autographed New England Patriots helmet from a restaurant in Foxborough, Massachusetts, two weeks ago.

Authorities said the man was seen taking the 2014 team helmet from Skipjack's Restaurant on Thursday, August 11. The video shows the man sitting at the bar, climbing over it to get the helmet, then taking his jersey off to cover the helmet up so that he could walk out with it.

Police said the man, who they believe is from Wilmington, Massachusetts, also left without paying his tab.

According to a representative from Skipjack’s, the suspect called them the day after the incident and said he would mail the helmet back and would send money to pay for his tab. They said they have yet to receive either.

Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to contact police at 508-543-1212.
