Man Charged With OUI After Hitting Teen, Fleeing

A man has been charged with OUI after police say he hit a 15-year-old pedestrian Sunday in Hudson, New Hampshire.

Thomas Swain, 46, of Nashua, was arrested after police say he hit the boy while he was crossing Central Street.

The child was treated at the scene for minor injuries and walked home by himself, but he was able to give police a description and plate number of Swain's Subaru Forester.

Police arrested Swain and charged him with DWI and felony conduct after a crash for his role in the hit-and-run.

Swain was held on $5,000 cash or surety bail. He is due in court Monday.
