Mass. Man Faces Murder Charge in Tenn.

A western Massachusetts man is returning to Tennessee where he faces a murder charge.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that a Massachusetts judge on Thursday determined that Tennessee authorities can pick up 34-year-old Anthony Hardaway, of Pittsfield.

Hardaway is charged in the February death of Perry Folk outside a Johnson City convenience store.

Tennessee authorities say Hardaway shot Folk during a drug or cash exchange, pushed him out of the car they were in, and then ran him over before fleeing.

Hardaway was arrested in Massachusetts in April and has been held without bail since.

Hardaway's lawyer argued against extradition, saying the case against his client was "entirely hearsay."

It's not clear when Hardaway will be returned to Tennessee.
