A person has died after being shot Wednesday night in Boston, police confirm.
The shooting took place around 8:20 p.m. in the area of 120 Southern Ave. in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.
Police on the scene confirmed to necn just after 9 p.m. that the victim, a man in his mid-twenties, had died.
It was not immediately known whether a suspect was in custody.
