A 17-year-old girl has been shot in East Boston, authorities confirm.
Boston Police say it happened near 205 Princeton St. Friday evening. Officers responded just after 6 p.m.
The victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A witness says two people passed in a blue moped and one fired shots.
Neighbors tell necn the victim was while she was sitting on the front steps when she was shot in the shoulder. One woman said she believes the shots were intended for a man who lives in the home.
Police say they're looking for someone who is possibly driving a blue moped.
No arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
