Authorities in Massachusetts confirm a man was fatally shot in Brockton Thursday morning.
Police responded to 133 N. Main St. in Brockton. According to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office, 23-year-old Manny Junior Andrade of Taunton was shot in the face.
Witnesses who live in the area tell necn a Brockton police officer was working a private detail with a Verizon truck when he saw a Mercedes drive by with a crashed-out back window.
A witness says the car, which had two male occupants inside, was pulled over, and one of them was taken out of the car, laid on the street and then away by ambulance. The other person got out of the driver's side and was lead away by police. It's unclear if that person is a suspect or a victim.
The incident remains under investigation.
