Suspect Charged in Easter Murder

Police have arrested a suspect in a murder that took place on Easter Sunday in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Thirty-year-old Luis Guillermo Burgos of Holyoke was shot in the back in front of a house on Chestnut Street around 6 p.m. He was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.

After an investigation, police identified 25-year-old Alejandro Rosario, also of Holyoke, as a suspect. He is currently being held on narcotic charges and is expected to be arraigned on Monday.

The homicide is the second of the year in Holyoke.
