A 16-year-old wanted in connected with a July homicide in Fall River, Massachusetts, was arrested Monday night.
Jayden Smith, who had been Fall River police's most-wanted suspect, was ordered to be held without bail during his arraignment Tuesday.
Smith has been wanted since the shooting death of 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen on July 11.
Last month he was indicted on charges of murder, carrying an illegal firearm and possession of a loaded illegal firearm.
Smith was found hiding in a bedroom at the home of a friend in Fall River shortly before midnight by state and Fall River police.
His friend, who is also 16, was arrested and charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact. Officials aren't releasing his name because he's been charged as a juvenile.
It’s not clear if Smith has an attorney.
He's due back in court on Dec. 13.
