    NEWSLETTERS

The day started perfectly clear, but an upper level energy center crossing New England spawned a series of Thunderstorms that erupted out of the Blue Very Quickly during the early afternoon. Lunch at The Top of The Hub came with a side of exploding Towering Cumulonimbus on the side. Here is the Sequence.

As we drove south from Boston, the heavy rain caught us in south Boston. (The storm moved north to south, 20-30 mph). We outran the storm and arrived home in Scituate just ahead of the storm. It then caught us with scary close lightning and torrential downpours.

4:30 pm Massachusetts. Sometimes you chase the storm, sometimes the storm chases you!

The storm hit hard from Somerville to Scituate.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the remnant of the 20" Rainstorm from Pensacola Florida. That moisture arrives here Wednesday, we may have another multi-inch Rainstorm.
