(NECN) - There is a flood watch in effect for parts of New England for Monday that could go into Tuesday night.
Showers are expected to overspread the region from west to east Monday afternoon.
The heaviest rain is expected to occur Monday night, where some locations could pick up an inch of rain in just an hour of thunderstorms.
There may be a lull in the activity on Tuesday morning, but are expected to develop again Tuesday evening.
