Marathon Runners Not Worried by Heat

(NECN: John Moroney) - Those hitting the pavement in the Boston Marathon will be facing record-breaking temperatures which are expected to rise into the 80s.

Race officials warned runners that only the most physically fit should take on the grueling course.

Many runners are not worried by the heat, but are heeding tips to run slower, hydrate and change strategies.

NECN's John Moroney reports from Hopkinton.
