(NECN) - Crescent Ridge Dairy CEO Mark Parrish has a unique career path that took him from the family farm as a kid to the Mercantile Exchange in Chicago and back again.

"I got out of college in 1983 , and my first job was in the commodities future business and moved to Chicago then, and I was a floor broker and trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the currency pits until 1996," he says.
