Two Seabrook, New Hampshire police officers have been terminated after a video that portrayed police brutality was posted to YouTube.
Seabrook Police officers Mark Richardson and Adam Laurent were terminated on Wednesday.
In addition, Officer Keith Dietenhofer was suspended without pay for two days in connection to the incident. A fourth officer who was supervising that night, Lieutenant John Wasson, has been demoted to patrolman.
The surveillance video from the police department jail cell was posted by the victim in January of 2014. The video showed the aftermath of Michael Bergeron Jr.’s November 2009 DWI arrest.
Bergeron, who was 19 years old at the time of the incident, claimed he suffered permanent injuries.
