Flash Floods Hit Parts of Rhode Island

(NECN: Scot Yount, Pawtucket, RI) - There are reports of flash flooding in and around Providence, Rhode Island.

Some areas in and around Providence have seen up to four inches of rain.

Commuters are urged not to drive vehicles into areas where the water covers the road. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely -- move to higher ground. Most flood deaths occur in automobiles.
