(NECN: Jennifer Eagan, Boston) - Mass. Attorney General Martha Coakley announced Thursday she's filing a lawsuit against a videography company accused of scamming dozens of newlyweds of some big money.
The lawsuit against the operators of the company SureShot claims they failed to deliver wedding videos to dozens of their customers, but they still collected $75,000 in advance payments.
"He took advantage of more than 80 couples on their wedding days, robbing them not only of thousands of dollars but probably more importantly those priceless memories," Coakley said in a news conference.
NECN reached out to the owners of SureShot. So far, they're not commenting.
