(NECN: Kristen Carosa) - It's the end of a marriage and the beginning of unwanted publicity for two Uxbridge, Mass. brothers who say they are pastors of what they call the Church of the End of Times.
On Friday, one of those brothers stood before a judge in Uxbridge District Court, days after being arrested at his home on Murphy's Way.
On Monday, Dennis Stanley refused to take a restraining order from police, leading to a more than one hour long stand off with police.
Uxbridge Police say the Stanley brothers allegedly locked themselves in the house.
Police say they told Dennis Stanley he would be arrested if he resisted the restraining order sought by his wife.
Dennis' brother David say he tried to protect his brother from police.
"I prayed, I prayed the might power of Jesus' name, that's all I did, I never threatened police, I prayed," said David.

Both David and Dennis Stanley were arrested for violating an abuse prevention order, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.
The two brothers are directors of a local paving company, as well as pastors of the Church of the End of Times in Uxbridge.
Something, Stanley's family says, has become a problem.
"He doesn't want to spend time with his family, he has a new family at the church," said Beth Stanley, Dennis' wife.
Beth Stanley says her husband brings home many young women for what he says is "Bible study."
According to police, close to a dozen women between the ages of 16 and 19 were living at the home.
Andrea Gault, the mother of the Stanley brothers, was in court Friday to support her daughter-in-law's request for the restraining order.
She says the Church of the End of Times has posted several videos on its YouTube channel, which feature exorcisms of Demons by "Pastor David" Stanley.
Gault says her sons' actions are disturbing.
"I wish I knew what was wrong with them, I wish I could get them back," she said. "I just don't know what to do, I have to bring this church down, that's all I want to happen."
