Obama Holds Bipartisan Meeting on Jobs Plan

(NECN: Washington) - President Barack Obama is meeting today with top lawmakers from both parties in hopes of launching a new jobs bill toward quick passage.

The President has proposed a package of small business tax breaks and new lending.

"The American people are frustrated with the lack of progress on some key issues," said Obama. "There should be some areas where we can agree."

"It's going to take a lot of work," said Obama.
