(NECN) - Police in Wilton, N.H. are investigating a report of an attempted abduction.
Authorities say it happened at the 7-year-old girl's home on Potter Road when a girl was playing in the driveway as a pick-up truck stopped in front of her house.
The male driver got out of the truck and chased her up the driveway.
The child was able to get back into the house safely.
Police are asking people who live in the area to report any suspicious activity.
